Heart of Flames

   

 Written by Nicki Pau Preto, this book is fabulous! I loved every part of it! Especially the parts where my ships were sailing!!!! (Not going to spoil more than that concerning romance in the Heart of Flames.)

   Alvalkyra has a legacy, a dream, and a will to fulfill that dream. Her dream contains three things. Veronyka, herself, and the crown. But what happens when Veronyka refuses to do anything with Val? Val isn’t the one to let go, but neither is Veronyka. So who will bend first?

   On the other hand, the empire is advancing with a goal to draw the Phoenix Riders out and kill them. Veronyka, Sev, and Tristan must stop them before it’s too late. 

   With the quest for finding allies and revealing enemies, Val is eager to get her crown back, and she will get it no matter what or who she loses in the process. 

   With old allies joining back and new ones being formed, Alvalkyra Ashfire still cares only about herself and her crown. She is determined to get it back. 

   The war once destroyed her because of the fight between two sisters. For Val, love destroys- but she forgets love also saves. Will her ignorance and desperate need for the crown be the downfall of all Phoenix riders? Love has saved Veronyka once; will it be there to save her again?

   My opinion: Those of you that can’t tell, I loved this book so very much! It was one of those books that, after finishing, I would love to read again. This book took me on a fantastic ride of happiness, grief, anger, sadness, and lots and lots of squealing! I loved the character development in the book and the beautiful storyline!
