Ever cursed is a young adult fiction novel written by the author Corey Ann Haydu. This book was published on July 14th, 2020.

What I Think Of This Book

This book is very well written. I also loved the character development. Reading this book was like stepping into a unique world that I had never seen before. This book (based on the books I’ve read so far in my whole life) had an original idea. Truthfully I never could connect with the characters as they all were going through something depressing. Their way of life was so different that I just couldn’t correlate. It doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to connect; this is just my opinion. 

Book Review/Summary

There are five princesses who are beloved by everyone, but are they really? These princesses are not normal princesses, though; they are cursed...Ever Cursed. They all are cursed to live without something, and if the spell isn’t broken, some of the princesses might even die from it. 

They will get a chance to break the spell....but there is a catch. They have to break the spell before the magic turn’s true, and the princesses were doomed forever.

The witch who cast the spell- Reagan is not as everyone thought she was, which was hateful of everyone...but there’s something different about her. She has hatred, though, but towards the King of Ever ...The Good King, as Jane called him. 

But then….the princesses see. Really see what goes on around them. They see why the servants and everyone is scared near their king. But most of all, they realize the reason for Reagon’s anger.

With the princesses on the lookout for objects needed to break the spell, the princesses realize things they haven’t realized before, which helps them learn what it really means to be a princess. 

Any Romance?

There is a bit of romance, but it was not between the main characters. It was just a side romance. But in general, the book focused on the princesses and not that much on romance. So if you’re looking for a book with romance and fantasy, then this book is not for you.
