What I think of this book in general

This book is fantastic. I would give it ten stars out of 5. Unfortunately, I can't do that. But what I can say is how much I loved it. I loved it. This isn't the usual type of story. The usual type is this: Princess goes on an adventure, finds prince has a best friend, then there is a love triangle, and then ten books later she finds her true love. NOPE. This book is absolutely different from that. It is adventurous and keeps people (namely me because I haven't interviewed people about this book) hooked till the end!

Book Review/Summary

(I tried making this book review spoiler-free, so if you are looking for spoilers, I can't give them to you here, but you could fill out a contact form asking me for spoilers. That way, I can give you the spoilers you want… Enjoy!)

There is one world...divided in two. Your blood color defines your fortune…If it is silver, you have powers, and you are above the reds. If your blood color is red, then you are doomed to a life of work. Either find a job or be forced to work in the army if you don't have a job by 18.

For a typical red like Mare Barrow, nothing would change…or would it? After meeting an unknown stranger, she finds herself working as a red servant in the silver palace. At least until she figures out, she has powers. Deadly powers that would surely make her end up dead, except that many silvers had seen her.

A red girl having powers is a first everywhere… or is it? To hide her real identity, she is given a fake one…a lost silver princess, now engaged to a silver Calore prince.

Knowing that one teensy mistake can lead to her death, she works to help the red rebel group causing chaos everywhere. (Reckless, right? But that's Mare Barrow for you!) They all fight, for one thing, equality between reds and silvers. But most silvers refuse to see… why go for equality when you can rule over the reds and live a lavish life?

Now reds are fighting for change as this story goes through an emotional roller coaster with love, adventure, and betrayal.
